We are loving our new sun terrace with the new awning, sit back and relax with a lovely fresh hot cup of Atkinsons of Lancaster Coffee and one of our delicous cakes and watch the world go by......
It is with great regret that we have to announce the clousure of our Dalton Branch, we would like to thank all our customers for supporting us over the years and the dedicated staff that stayed with us to the end. Thank you all.
Proud to announce that our gluten free chocolate torte has been awarded a one star in this years judging.
Made with the finest Belgian Chocolate, and local organic cream from Swarthmoor Hall Farm this almond based Torte has been popular with our customers for some time. To quote from the judges comments "an enticing looking shiny topped chocolate torte decorated with flaked almonds. A nice light fudgy cake that dissolves in the mouth, and we enjoyed the creamy ganache"
Its one of a range of gluten free products we make and stock in our shops.
Grange Bakery has just become part of the My Cumbria scheme. It's organised by Cumbria Tourism and for residents of Cumbria. My Cumbria works by giving discount on a variety of services including eating out, attractions and shopping. Grange Bakery is offering 10% off all of our sandwiches and baguettes for members - so now you can try our delicious slow-roasted ham sandwiches at a bargain price.
Spring is coming and we're celebrating by decorating the Grange Over Sands shop with flowers.
We're also baking some delicious new bread recipes - Sourdough Cobs, Rye Cobs and Last Wolf Ale, Rye and Oat Cobs. They all make good daily loaves and are particularly good with cheeses, salads and soups.
We are really pleased to announce that Grange Bakery has recently become a member of The Guild of Fine Food.
The Guild was set up to promote and protect the integrity of speciality food sold and produced by independent businesses in the UK. As we're passionate about good quality bread and cakes, we just had to join.
